The Vampire's Assistant film opened in 2,754 theaters in the USA and made close to $14 million dollars, reaching number seven in the charts. The Vampire's Assistant has performed stronger in other countries, making €12.4 million dollars by the start of 2010, getting to number one in Ukraine, number two in Russia, nuber three in Portugal and number five in the UK.
The Vampire's Assistant movie is scheduled to open in many more countries between now and June 2010, and on DVD and Blu-Ray in the UK and USA in February, so there is still a chance that it will ultimately perform well and generate a sequel, despite its subdued opening in the USA.
